Returns

All returns must be accompanied with an RMA number and the original invoice. Please call 215-840-9156 within 3 days of receiving your order and explain why you want to return the item and an RMA will be assigned to you.

Shipping the item back to American Elite Garage Doors is the responsibility of the consumer and must be sent freight prepaid to the address listed on our contact page.

No returns or exchanges will be accepted unless they are unused and in their original packaging. If a product is shrink wrapped and it has been opened it is not returnable. Please inspect all products before installation. Any products that have been installed are not returnable. No exceptions!

All returns of undamaged goods will incur a 20% restocking fee if shipped back within 15 days. 15 days is calculated from the day the product shipped to you till the day it is received back. Shipping charges will also be deducted for orders that shipped free. All products returned must arrive in perfect condition and sellable to be eligible for refund or exchange. Otherwise it will be refused and shipped back to the consumer at their expense.

In cases where American Elite sends the wrong part, we will cover freight charges to send the part back and ship the correct part to you at no charge.

In cases where the consumer orders the wrong part, it is the responsibility of the consumer to ship the part back and to pay shipping for the correct part.

Under no circumstances are special order items returnable.

No Returns accepted after 15 days.


Cancelations

Please be sure you want to purchase a product before you place your order. Orders are processed rapidly to provide customers with the fastest service possible. We use a network of many suppliers and have access to thoudands of parts on very short notice. Items that are not part of our regular inventory are sometimes ordered minutes after we receive your confirmation. When we commit to the product with our supplier it is usually impossible to stop the order.


The following applies to cancelations:

You can cancel a part that is part of our regular inventory with no penalty as long as it hasn't shipped.

If we commit to the product with one of our suppliers and you cancel, there is a 20% restocking fee. This applies whether the product has shipped or not. All shipping charges incurred will also be deducted from your refund.

This policy is not to make money on you in any way. These are industry standard charges that we pay our suppliers if we return a product.

In order to cancel an order you must call 215-840-9156. Do not send an email or leave a voice mail and assume your order is cancelled. Emails sometimes get lost and so do voice messages. Your order is not officially cancelled until you receive an email from us stating a status change to cancelled. If your order ships before we cancel your order, you are responsible for any restocking fees and shipping charges.


Warranties

Any warranties on the products sold hereby by PhillyDoors.com are those made by the manufacturer.

Customer must engage the manufacturer for any warranty issues. American Elite will assist the customer if help is requested.

Shipping the item to the manufacturer is the responsibility of the consumer.

Price Guarantee

American Elite guarantees to beat any competitors price on any item we carry whether we have it listed on our website or not. The following restrictions apply in order for us to beat a competitors price.

Item must be the identical brand and part number as the one we sell. Some resellers use different part numbers than American Elite and we will do our best make sure it is the same product.

Price comparison must be verified by American Elite. Please don't ask us to call a competitor to verify a price. If you get a price quoted over the phone, we can't accept that. The price must be an advertised price on the internet that can be verified by American Elite.

Price comparison is only valid on products that are immediately available. If an item is on backorder, the calculations will be done when the product becomes available.

Price comparison must take into account shipping policies and charges. We don’t charge shipping on orders over $99.00. We absorb that cost. It comes directly out of our profits. So if a competitor charges shipping but has the product listed for less, we do the calculations and if we’re still more expensive than them, we will beat their price by 10% of the price difference.

Please do your research before you buy. We will not do any price comparisons after an order is placed. American Elite is under no obligation to retroactively give refunds because you find the item cheaper after you make your purchase. Keep in mind some times the lowest price is not the best deal. Some vendors don't take product back and don't give refunds. Some vendors don't let you know what the real shipping charge is going to be until they ship the product out.

American Elite reserves the right to not sell any product at below dealer cost. If a competitor is closing out a product or selling a product at a price we can't beat, we may elect at our discretion to not sell the product.

American Elite reserves the right to change prices at any time and are under no legal obligation to honor prices that are errors or out of date. Manufacturers often raise thier prices without notifying dealers and we will give you the option to purchase the product at the correct price before processing your order.
